At Root to Rise, we believe nourishing yourself should feel like a homecoming: easeful, connected, instinctual while rooted in community and the nostalgia of a true local food network.
We have reimagined the traditional CSA to offer a softer, more flexible way to stay connected to the land, the humans who tend it, and your local food network. The Field Share is a partnership built on choice, designed to rhythmically move alongside the modern needs of your own kitchen and schedule.
Your 6-week Field Share begins with a $30 membership(or $75 if you choose to join us for the full 18-week season), securing your place in our intimate circle of neighbors. Each Thursday of your Field Share, you will receive an early and exclusive "menu drop" highlighting what’s available from our gardens, pastures, and micro-bakery in the week ahead via our private virtual storefront on the app Hotplate.
With the ordering capabilities on Hotplate, you have the freedom to hand-select exactly what resonates with you and what you need—perhaps a crusty sourdough boule, some freshly baked sourdough cookies one week but a dozen farm eggs, a bundle of heirloom greens, and a rustic farm bouquet the next.
You shop and pay only for what you’d like to stock your kitchen with in the coming days, signaling for us to begin gathering your custom share with intention, ready for a seamless pickup at the farm or in the heart of Lyndonville on your designated day.
This ensures you get first dibs on everything you love and want, freshly grown and harvested that week, well before anyone can access it at the Farmstand, along with exclusive access to a member-only specialty sourdough items and homemade pantry staples like homemade jam, pickles, and fresh-from-the-garden canned goods.
Over the summer, we will follow the ever changing heartbeat of the Northeast Kingdom through three distinct Field Share blocks, each with their own seasonal offerings and flavor:
The Awakening Season (June 1- July 6 ): blossoming with greens, whimsical bouquets, fresh homemade jams, and seasonally inspired sourdough bread, baked goods, and pantry staples like granola and pancake mix
The High Season (July 13- Aug 17 ): featuring peak summer vegetables, cheerful fresh cut flowers, seasonal, homemade jams, pickles, and freshly canned goods, our first available pasture-raised chicken, and all the sourdough microbakery Items you have come to love
The Golden Season (Aug 24- Sept 28 ): a bounty of fall sourdough and veggies, canned goods, textured blooms, pasture-raised chicken, farm fresh eggs, and priority access to order from our upcoming pork, beef and, Thanksgiving turkey meat program.

Each seasonal block Field Share membership is just $30. Select one, two, or all three of the Field Share blocks, depending on what block works best for your summer, tastebuds, and needs.
Full Season members that would like to join us for every turn of the summer enjoy a membership discount, paying $75 ($15 discount) for the full 18-weeks and receive additional $20 "Growers Bonus” account credit on Hotplate to use toward any menu throughout the season.
