Root to Rise Farm Sourdough

There’s nothing like the smell and taste of freshly baked sourdough bread, don’t you think?

Lizzie has spent years mastering the art of sourdough baking and offers her craft at the farmstand from May-October. In the off-season, when the farmstand is closed, she offers 6-week Sourdough Bread CSAs.

In addition to baking weekly for the farmstand and Sourdough CSA, Lizzie runs a Community Sourdough Program. This is a program in which grassroots donations of anywhere from $1-$5 goes directly to helping Lizzie cover the cost of ingredients that she then uses to bake at least 10 high quality sourdough loaves. This bread is then directly distributed to neighbors experiencing food insecurity through the Lyndonville and Gilman, VT Food Banks.
