“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; We borrow it from our children.”

- Native American Proverb

We believe that we have one Earth and that our actions, no matter how big or small, create a lasting impact on the world we borrow from our children and future grandchildren.

Sustainability is at the forefront of every decision we make here at the farm, especially surrounding how and what we farm.

Sure, we raise livestock, veggies, flowers, bake artisan bread, and aim to bring our community together, but more than anything…

We grow healthy soil.

We are regenerative farmers.

This means that we utilize holistic farming methods that follow Indigenous wisdom and planting practices designed specifically to restore the land and improve soil health rather than use and deplete it.

Why?

Well, because we believe that healthy soil is, single-handedly, one of the easiest, most effective, and most impactful ways to not only nourish our bodies, support our immune systems, and increase our ability to feed our communities but it’s also one of the easiest and most impactful ways to slow and reverse global warming via carbon capturing.
