What’s Blooming?

Summer Blooms

We had a magically divine peony and lilac season, selling out both small rustic farm bouquets and mason jar arrangements to individuals and a local shop. The peonies came from our 30 peony plants- many transplanted from Tom’s grandmother’s garden over the river in NH- and lilacs from mature, existing lilac tree varieties on the property. Truly… it was everything we dreamed of!

All our summer cut flowers have been transplanted out to the raised garden beds: Zinnias, Cosmos, Gomphrena, Nigella, Bells of Ireland, dahlias, borage, Nasturtium, Yarrow, Craspedia, and Celosia and are busy doing their thing while our perennial beds are moving through their orchestra of blooms. Currently in our perennial beds, we have: Astilbe, Rose, Hydrangea, Cat mint, Sedum, Hostas, Bee Balm, and Salvia.

As always, there are natural grasses, ferns, and wild flowers around the farm pastures that we forage to add to the whimsy of our arrangements.
